The Lions opened league play on Tuesday night as they traveled to Chruch Farm. The Lions got an early jump on the Giffins and led at the end of the first quarter 14-10. The Giffins closed the gap at the end of the 2nd quarter of 23-20 with a 3 pointer buzzer beater by Job Bol Ajak. The Lions were held to just 6 points and the end of three and trailed 30-29.
A driving layup by Kevin Dougherty tied the game at 31 with 6:22 left in the fourth, but the Lions couldn't overcome the hot shooting Giffins. The Lions dropped their 3rd game of the early season. Sr. Kevin Dougherty leads the Lions scores with 15 points.
